Co-formulant solutions for high electrolyte crop protection formulations

On-demand

Webinar:

The market continues to demand higher performing and more advanced crop protection products. To remain competitive and meet this market demand, crop protection companies test the limits of formulation chemistry and often face the challenge of formulating in high electrolyte systems.

Are you currently working with these types of systems and looking for a better solution? Join us for a 30 minute webinar to learn of sustainable co-formulants that can be a solution and even further expand the limits of your formulation possibilities.

In this webinar, we explore this topic further and offer possible solutions. Following the webinar, there will be a live Q&A session to address your specific questions. The webinar will also be available on demand for those who are registered.

Topic Covered

Tune rheology in high salt systems: Cellulose fibrils can thicken formulations and stabilize suspensions in high electrolyte formulations where common gums will fail.

Salt tolerant dispersants: Modified lignosulfonates designed for high electrolyte systems are effective and sustainable dispersants.

Increase foliar residence time: Cellulose fibrils when dried form a temporary film, helping to increase rainfastness of the active on the leaf surface.

Excellent Regulatory and Sustainability status: Borregaard co-formulants lower CO2 profiles of your formulations, are safe to use and are approved for organic farming.

Technical Application Manager – AGRI Americas, Borregaard

Dr. Abby Kurth received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, where she researched novel organometallic catalysts for olefin polymerization in Prof. Ian Tonks’ group. She joined the R&D team at Borregaard in 2019 as a research scientist before taking on her current role as Technical Application Manager for Borregaard’s AGRI team in the Americas. Abby leads technical projects in both Crop Protection and Plant Nutrition and is excited to continue to push the boundaries of agchem formulations with Borregaard’s biopolymers.
